Our role depends on how you interact with LeadsEngage:
- LeadsEngage as a Data Controller: When you create an account, browse our website, subscribe to updates, or communicate with us for support or billing, LeadsEngage determines the purpose and means of processing your data and acts as a Data Controller.
- LeadsEngage as a Data Processor: When you use our Services to process leads, conversations, recordings, or contact data that belongs to your clients or end-users (“Client Data”), you act as the Data Controller, and LeadsEngage acts as your Data Processor. In this case, we process data only as instructed by you and in accordance with our Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways:
a) Information You Provide to Us:
- Account Information: Name, company name, email address, and password when you register.
- Billing Information: Payment and billing details securely processed by trusted third-party payment providers.
- Communications: Any information you share when contacting us via chat, support forms, or email.
b) Information We Process on Your Behalf (Client Data)
- Lead, Conversation, and Recording Data: When you use LeadsEngage to manage communications, we process the associated data strictly to deliver the Services, analytics, and integrations you request. We do not use Client Data to train any internal or third-party AI models.
c) Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage Information: Metrics about how you use our platform, including login frequency, features accessed, and user behavior analytics.
- Device & Log Data: IP address, device type, browser, OS version, and referring URLs.
- Cookies & Similar Technologies: Used to operate, secure, and optimize your experience. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal and Client Data for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Improve the Services: To enable account access, deliver requested features, and enhance platform functionality.
- To Manage Accounts and Billing: To verify identity, process payments, and maintain subscription records.
- To Communicate with You: To send important updates, support responses, onboarding materials, and security notifications.

LeadsEngage maintains a Sub-Processor List, available upon request.

We adhere to the principle of data minimization - retaining data only as long as necessary.
- Client Data (Conversations, Leads, or Recordings): Retained only for as long as needed to provide Services, analytics, or account continuity. Old or inactive data may be securely deleted from production systems.
- Account Data: Kept as long as your account is active or as required by law (e.g., for tax or regulatory compliance).
- Upon request, LeadsEngage will permanently delete your data in accordance with applicable laws.
7. Data Security
We employ industry-leading technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including:
- AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit
- Role-based access controls and audit logging
- Secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
- Regular vulnerability scans and security assessments
Despite these measures, no online service can guarantee 100% security. If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users promptly as required by law.
